The Service

AideAI is an AI-powered assistant for Mac that helps you understand context, plan work, write, summarize, transcribe, search, and act across enabled apps and data sources. Features may include screen context, audio capture, transcription, calendar and reminder integrations, file processing, web search, model-based generation, skills, agents, and other tools.

Some features require macOS permissions or third-party integrations. You are responsible for choosing which permissions and integrations to enable and for making sure you have the right to process any content you provide to the Service.

Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
• Some features may be available anonymously through an app-generated device identifier. Other features may require an email-based account.
• You are responsible for activity associated with your account, device, credentials, and enabled integrations.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account information current.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

AideAI may offer free and paid plans. Paid features, pricing, renewal terms, and billing options are shown in the app or checkout flow. Subscriptions may be processed by Apple, Stripe, or another payment provider.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you do not want to be charged. Refunds are handled according to the applicable payment provider’s rules and mandatory consumer protection laws.

Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. You may not authorize or assist anyone else to misuse the Service.

• Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, lease, sublicense, or make the Service available as a competing service.
• Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, crawl, attack, bypass, or compromise the Service or its security.
• Do not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, invade privacy, generate unlawful content, or process content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not submit malware, secrets, credentials, payment card data, protected health information, children’s data, or other highly sensitive information unless a feature explicitly supports that use and you have all required rights and safeguards.
• Do not use outputs as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, academic, or safety-critical advice.

Your Content and AI Outputs

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. You grant AideAI the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use that content to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use outputs generated for you by the Service. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to outputs generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party apps, platforms, model providers, payment processors, websites, or APIs. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, their availability, or their handling of data except as required by law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

AideAI and our licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, logos, documentation, and other materials. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice where required. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

The Service may be unavailable or degraded due to maintenance, outages, third-party failures, security issues, or other factors.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIDEAI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR OUTPUTS WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIDEAI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST BUSINESS, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD 100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO AIDEAI FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AideAI harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, fail to pay fees, or use the Service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to these Terms or the Service.

General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented to you, are the entire agreement between you and AideAI regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
