  • How do I ask any questions to Aide AI?
    Use the 'Option + Space' hotkey to open or close the Aide AI Assistant on top of any active application.
  • How to log in to the application?
    1. Select the login option from the menu (Menu -> Account -> Sign in). 2. Enter your email address (the same one used when you purchased the subscription) and click the "Next" button. 3. Go to your mailbox and open the email with the subject โ€œAideAI login requested...โ€ and click to "Sign in to 'AideAI'" 4. Click on โ€œOpen Aide.appโ€ on the following page. 5. All done! You can see your Account like this:
  • How to start a new chat session?
    To start a new session (forget the previous chat context), you need to click the button as shown in the screenshot: As a result of pressing, you will see the inscription โ€œNEW SESSIONโ€ and the memory counter will be reset to 0.
  • How do I start/stop a meeting capture?
    There are 2 ways for it. Way 1. Select Start/Stop Audio Capture in the menu (Menu -> Start/Stop Audio Capture). Before it, you can select one of the 100+ conversation languages (Menu -> Audio Language). Way 2. 1. Open Aide AI Assistant 2. Select Meetings 3. Select a meeting language and click the '+' button to start. 4. To stop audio capture, click the stop button. When a meeting capture is active you can see a red dot and 'REC'.
  • Who has access to my data?
    Aide AI prioritizes your privacy and your information is used solely to provide you with the assistance you have requested. Recordings of your screen and audio are stored locally and never leave your Mac. If you choose to use the meeting summary features or Aide AI's Ask features, only the relevant text data is sent to the cloud. If your question is asked in the context of the current screen, the screenshot is encrypted, processed for your current request, and then deleted. Product analytics: We send non-sensitive information, such as whether an app is turned on or off or whether a search was performed. Your search query itself is never tracked. This allows us to create the best product for you. Crash Reports: If the app crashes or encounters an error, we will send logs detailing what happened. This allows us to fix bugs faster.
  • Will Aide AI sell my data or do advertising?
    We will never sell your data or do advertising. Why? Only you have access to your data. It's all stored locally on your Mac. No one else (including us as Aide AI employees) can access it. Our business model is a monthly subscription paid by you, our customer. Not your employer, not an advertiser, you. This business model maximally aligns our incentives with your best interests. This alignment ensures that your trust & privacy is more important to us than anything else, so therefore we will never sell your data or do advertising.
